We probably went our purchase in Merida in a backwards manner. Neither of us knows much Spanish. We are not yet ready to retire. We have not spent any time in Mexico other than at cruise ports. The result of our backwards search, however, could not have been better. We made two house-hunting trips to Merida. Isaac did a great job of being prepared to show us houses we had found on-line and houses he identified on his own after gaging our needs and interest. We looked at many homes, both those listed by Real Estate Yucatan and those listed by others. Isaac helped us find the perfect second home and continues to help us with outstanding recommendations for vendors etc. I could not be more pleased that we found Isaac and Real Estate Yucatan to help us with our Merida home purchase. - John Devine and Rick Murphy

This is my 5th year of living in Merida and every year of living in Merida I have bought and or sold a house here. I always check out the listings of Real Estate Yucatan first because I love working with Gabriella, Alec and Judith. They always make it so easy to see the houses I want to see that I often ask them to make all of my appointments even if they are not the listing agent. I find them shockingly professional and efficient in a town where mañana is the rule and half the agents in town forget the appointment, the keys or both. I can not find enough nice things to say about them and their agency and for me that is a very rare thing indeed. - John Powell
